Graduates will have a specialized training in clinical and administrative duties of Medical Assisting,
Clinical Skills: Phlebotomy skills, CPR Training, Assisting in Minor Office Procedures, Patient Triage, Vital Signs, Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures,
Administrative Skills: Computer skills, administrative processes, bookkeeping and accounting practices, and claim processing.

The Phlebotomy Technician is a clinical professional who has been trained to draw blood from patients. Phlebotomists' collect blood samples for transfusion, donation, and research facilities.
Students will receive training in proper venipuncture techniques, and extensive training on OSHA regulated asepsis techniques in blood collections Graduates will have a specialized skill in drawing blood.
Students will prepare for the National Center for Competency Testing exam (NCCT) to become a National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT).
