JOB DESCRIPTION

The Medical Assistant is a medical professional who has been trained to in front and back office skills,. Their services are being sought by medical offices, ambulatory care providers, clinics, hospitals, urgent care centers, nursing homes, medical supply businesses, home health agencies, insurance providers, and pharmaceutical companies. 


MA TRAINING:

24 weeks!

Graduates will have a specialized training in clinical and administrative duties of Medical Assisting, 

Clinical Skills: Phlebotomy skills, CPR Training, Assisting in Minor Office Procedures, Patient Triage, Vital Signs, Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, 

Administrative Skills: Computer skills, administrative processes, bookkeeping and accounting practices, and claim processing. 


 Students will prepare for the National Center for Competency Testing exam (NCCT) to become a National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA).

1. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

Certified Phlebotomy Technician Training

  

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Phlebotomy Technician is a clinical professional who has been trained to draw blood from patients. Phlebotomists' collect blood samples for transfusion, donation, and research facilities. 


PHLEBOTOMY TRAINING:

2 MONTHS!

Students will receive training in proper venipuncture techniques, and extensive training on OSHA regulated asepsis techniques in blood collections Graduates will have a specialized skill in drawing blood. 


  Students will prepare for the National Center for Competency Testing exam (NCCT) to become a National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT).

CPR Training

CPR/BLS Training

EMMI have a Licensed CPR/BLS Instructor that provides training to both medical professionals and non- medical professionals. 


Individuals will be trained on the updated material presented by American Heart Association.


The instructor is Licensed by American Heart Association to train to students in Basic Life Support and HeartSavers First Aid, CPR, and AED Techniques.
